OUR HISTORY

How it all began…

My passion for education began when I was a high school student. At that time I volunteered at local elementary schools, and worked in child care. My passion continued as I pursued a degree in Early Childhood Education from Northeastern State University.

While attending classes, I earned a scholarship which allowed me the opportunity to volunteer several hours a week in a kindergarten classroom. Through my work in child care, volunteering, and interning throughout college, I gained a tremendous amount of experience with students in need of a variety of academic challenges.

I completed my education and began my teaching career in the fall of 2006. After several years as a classroom teacher, I realized the importance of individualized instruction and decided to expand my part time tutoring into a business. The vision of Blosch Tutoring was born.

Since opening Blosch Tutoring in 2013, my dream has grown and we now offer tutoring sessions for students of all ages, with all academic areas included. Instruction at Blosch Tutoring has developed through the thousands of hours I've spent tutoring, teaching, and volunteering.

Tutoring provides students the opportunity for concentrated one-on-one attention. Although I've had success and seen countless children learn and grow in my classroom, the attention and support provided by a private tutor is unmatched.

I have found it very rewarding to witness the accelerated success students have with subjects or skills which they find challenging. After a few sessions of intense instruction, I found students were mastering skills that once challenged them.
